Intro
The COVID 19 Research Analyst (Research Project Specialist) is a term position with an end date of April 2nd, 2025, with the possibility of renewal through April 2nd, 2026. The Research Project Specialist will work in RAND’s Disaster Management & Resilience Program, supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in responding to COVID-19. The position involves providing quantitative research support, data collection and analysis, cost analysis, literature reviews, writing, and coordination of work among project team members. Strong research and analysis skills, fluency with Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to work effectively in remote, multi-disciplinary teams are required. Preferred qualifications include content knowledge in healthcare, public health, health services costs, medical billing/insurance, accounting, and/or disaster management. A BA/BS degree is required, and 0-5 years of relevant professional experience is preferred.
