Intro
The PPH Officer is responsible for increasing private sector fundraising income for UNHCR in Singapore. They will develop and implement the PPH strategy, identify potential funding sources, forge partnerships with donors, and increase awareness of UNHCR's work. The officer will also collaborate with colleagues in the Asia Pacific region and meet income targets. The ideal candidate should have an advanced degree in Business Administration or a related field, at least 6 years of fundraising experience, and excellent knowledge of the Singaporean fundraising environment. They should also have experience managing a team and proven ability to meet fundraising targets.
Tasks
- Develop and implement the PPH strategy for fundraising
- Identify and analyze private philanthropy trends
- Explore and identify potential funding and partnerships
- Grow the donor base through presentations and networking
- Forge long-lasting partnerships with donors
- Increase awareness of UNHCR's work through communications
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Asia Pacific region
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Business Administration or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of international private sector fundraising experience
- Excellent knowledge of the fundraising environment in Singapore
- Experience with developing and implementing plans and budgets
- Proven ability to meet fundraising targets and secure partnerships
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Working proficiency in English
