Intro
The EBRD is seeking an Intern for their Energy Europe team. The team focuses on renewable power generation projects, as well as gas and electricity storage, transmission, and distribution projects. The Intern will be involved in all phases of the project cycle, including project origination, structuring, execution, implementation, and monitoring. They will work as part of a project team under the guidance of the operation leader or more senior bankers. The responsibilities include project research and analysis, financial modeling, communication with stakeholders, and monitoring project progress. The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree, quantitative and credit analysis skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Relevant financial industry experience and exposure to industry/country experience are desirable. Tasks
- Assist with project origination, structuring, execution, implementation, and monitoring
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including financial analysis and market research
- Assist with communication with internal units, clients, and stakeholders
- Prepare monitoring reports and recommendations for corrective actions
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of TC assignments
- Develop a database of renewable energy projects for comparison
Requirements
- Master's degree
- Quantitative/numerical skills
- Credit analysis skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work effectively to deadlines
- Good teamwork and communication skills in English
- Professional qualification (ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA) is an advantage
- Relevant financial industry experience is preferable
- Exposure to industry/country experience is desirable
