1 PhD position (f/m/d) in the Poulet lab. Starting 1st April 2025
Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and collaborative PhD students who is fascinated by understanding the synaptic mechanisms of brain function. This project is part of the collaborative research centre IN-CODE (https://sfb-trr384.de) in which aims to uncover the role of inhibitory interneurons in cortical processing. This project will involve electrophysiological recordings in cortical slices. You will be part of the IN-CODE community as well as working closely with members of our team in a vibrant and collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm and passion for fundamental questions in neuroscience
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Collaborative and positive attitude to science
- Hands on skills for experimental work as well as programming knowledge for data analysis
