The Stabsstelle für Gleichstellung und Vielfalt at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal is committed to promoting equality and diversity in teaching, research and further education. It supports the university management in establishing gender and diversity management as a control principle and promotes discrimination-free study, research and working conditions. The Stabsstelle coordinates and develops measures for equality and diversity and networks organizational units as well as scientists and employees. The aim is to identify unequal treatment and discrimination and to develop appropriate countermeasures to create an open and diverse organizational culture.
