For our head office in Hamburg we are looking for a:
Working student in media and communications (m/f/d)
Location: Hamburg, partly mobile working within Germany possible Start: 15 January 2025 to 31 December 25 with possible extension Working hours: approx. 15 hours per week
The World Future Council (WFC) envisions a healthy planet with just and peaceful societies - now and in the future. To achieve this, we identify, develop, highlight, and spread future-just solutions for current challenges humanity is facing and award them with our unique Future Policy Award. Our Council consists of 50 eminent global changemakers from civil society, science, politics, and business. They meet annually at the World Future Forum to discuss the most urgent challenges and policy solutions to them. Jakob von Uexkull, the Founder of the Alternative Nobel Prize, launched the World Future Council in 2007.
We are looking for a working student (m/f/w) with a very good knowledge of German and English for supporting activities in media and communication from 15 January 2025.
We need support with the following tasks
- Content creation for social media (particularly Instagram and LinkedIn), (videos, visuals, captions and other texts)
- Website Updates (WordPress)
- Research support
- Other Tasks
Requirements:
- You identify with the goals and work of the foundation
- You are a 'digital native' and know your way around the various social platforms
- You are friendly, open-minded, willing to learn and communicative
- You are interested in media and communication
- You have very good oral and written communication skills in German and English
- You enjoy working with social media tools
- You work carefully
- You show initiative and can contribute independently to projects
