With this three-year apprenticeship, you will make an important contribution to every office.

Job Description

During your training, you will pass through all the important administrative departments, including the HR, finance and communications departments, as well as procurement and the secretariats in scientific areas. You will be carefully trained, actively involved in practical work and gain valuable insights into different areas of administration. In addition, there is a wide range of internal training courses, including language courses and training on learning and communication strategies. After your apprenticeship, you will be a specialist in office management and ideally qualified for organizational and commercial/administrative activities.

Requirements

- an intermediate school leaving certificate (MSA), Abitur or a comparable qualification with good knowledge of German, mathematics and English
- a talent for planning and organization
- good communication skills
- enjoy working with people
- flexibility and openness

The training takes place in the following departments of the MDC:  
- Finance/Accounting Department
- Human Resources Department
- Human Resources Development
- Purchasing and Logistics
- Communications Department/Public Relations
- Secretariats in scientific departments

In addition, you may be assigned to the following facilities/locations during your training:  
- BIMSB in Berlin Mitte
- Office of the Helmholtz Association Berlin
