Einführung
South Pole is looking for a Technical Lead to strengthen its team in Europe and to play a key role in international consultancy assignments, proposals, commercial activities, and multistakeholder initiatives.
Aufgaben
- Provide technical advice on engineered carbon removal and reduction projects.
- Coordinate across relevant teams within South Pole and related institutions.
- Assess the viability of engineered carbon reduction and carbon removal projects.
- Support project management and assessment of prospective projects.
- Identify potential risks that may undermine reduction/removal performance.
- Engage with South Pole Carbon Standard and Methodology experts.
Voraussetzungen
- Broad range of engineering knowledge related to technologies and solutions for CO2 capture and storage.
- Familiarity with biochar, bioenergy with capture and storage, direct air capture, enhanced weathering, and permanent CO2 mineralisation.
