TIER Mobility is Europe’s leading shared micro-mobility provider, with a mission to Change Mobility for Good. We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our restructured global inhouse tax team.

Aufgaben

Oversee and manage the preparation and filing of tax returns and related documentation for chosen entities.
Deliver the data and conduct thorough reviews of tax calculations, payments, and disclosures prepared by external advisors to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Advise on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes for the company.
Research and interpret tax laws and regulations, as well as keeping abreast of changes that may impact the organization.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as finance, legal, and operations teams to provide tax guidance and support for business initiatives and transactions.
Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, ensuring timely responses and resolution.
Develop and implement internal policies, procedures, and controls to ensure effective tax compliance and risk management.
Provide training and support to junior staff members on tax compliance issues and best practices.

Voraussetzungen

A degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Legal, or a related field. Tax advisor title is preferred, but not required.
At least 5-7 years of experience in tax compliance, preferable in an inhouse European tax role.
Fluent English; fluent German is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage multiple deliveries and deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment under time pressure.
Experience with tax software and ERP systems (Netsuite Oracle is an additional advantage) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
