Einführung
The Supply Associate position in Cox's Bazaar, Bangladesh, involves managing and supporting all activities related to the supply chain function. This includes planning, sourcing & procurement, transport, shipping, customs clearance, warehousing, assets & fleet management, and monitoring within the area of responsibility. The incumbent will work closely with UNHCR offices, UN agencies, NGOs, government partners, and commercial contractors to facilitate supply functions efficiently. Key responsibilities include preparing delivery plans, managing procurement processes, maintaining supply records, providing guidance on procurement policies, and ensuring effective asset and fleet management. Proficiency in English is essential for this role.
Aufgaben
- Manage and support all activities related to the supply chain function
- Prepare plans for delivery of relief and non-food items
- Apply sourcing & procurement strategy for purchasing commodities and services
- Maintain accurate records on supply activities and provide timely reports
- Evaluate purchase requisitions and ensure compliance with specifications
- Draft quotation requests, tenders, and assist in evaluating offers
- Provide guidance on procurement policies and procedures
- Monitor supply chain data and compile statistical information
- Disseminate and promote UNHCR's global policies on supply chain management
- Manage storage of goods according to best practices and UNHCR regulations
- Coordinate supply activities of partners and contractors
- Implement effective asset and fleet management
- Perform other related duties as required
Voraussetzungen
- 3 years relevant experience with High School Diploma or 2 years relevant experience with Bachelor's degree
- Minimum two years relevant experience in the Supply Chain field
- Proficiency in English language
