Einführung
Join the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems as a student in the Offshore Logistics group, where you will contribute to the development of innovative software tools for offshore wind farms.
Aufgaben
- Develop new scientific approaches for models simulating risks in offshore decommissioning projects
- Review literature to understand current state of developments
- Implement developed models into a software tool
- Evaluate data and conduct case scenarios to test the software
- Document methods and prepare comprehensive reports
- Summarize research findings
Voraussetzungen
- Currently enrolled in a master's degree program in Engineering, ideally with a focus on Wind Energy or Industrial Engineering
- Great programming skills in Python
- Experience in analyzing data and modeling simulations (preferred)
- Fluent in English
