Einführung
Join Fairtrade International as a Student Assistant in the Trademark and Licensing team, where you will support the management of trademark registrations and licensing operations, contributing to the global movement for fair trade.
Aufgaben
- Assist with maintaining the Fairtrade trademark portfolio, focusing on trademark registration renewals and collecting specimens to provide evidence of Fairtrade trademark use in specific jurisdictions.
- Support the Trademark and Licensing team in ensuring the smooth operation of licensing activities.
- Process invoices promptly, including following up with service providers to resolve discrepancies or errors, addressing any questions, and maintaining detailed records of all trademark-related expenses.
- Conduct information research tasks as requested.
- Assist in the preparation and compilation of documents.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Trademark and Licensing Manager.
Voraussetzungen
- Currently enrolled student in a Bachelor/Master’s degree program focused on development studies, law, sociology, development economics, agriculture, agronomics, business administration or related field.
- Enrolled in a German university.
- Exceptional organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong proficiency in data management software, ideally with experience using Salesforce.
- Excellent English language skills; proficiency in additional languages, particularly Spanish, French, or Portuguese, is highly desirable.
- Flexibility and a willingness to assist with a variety of tasks as needed.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge.
- Strong communication and intercultural skills.
- Service-oriented mindset.
- Genuine motivation to support Fairtrade principles and initiatives.
Benefits
- This is a 6 months position with possibility of an extension to 12 months.
- Weekly working hours: 16-20.
- Location is at Fairtrade International offices in Bonn, Germany.
- Salary as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Wholesale and Foreign Trade Industries for North Rhine Westphalia and Fairtrade International Company Agreement on wages and salaries Group II.
