We are currently seeking a

Student Assistant (gn)

to join the communications team of CIVICA - The European University of Social Sciences. CIVICA unites ten leading European higher education institutions in the social sciences, humanities, business management and public policy, with a total of 72,000 students & PhDs and 13,000 academic staff. The contract for 10 hours/week shall commence as of 1 March 2025 and is limited until the end of June 2025 (with the possibility of further extension).

Your tasks:

• Crafting content for various CIVICA channels, primarily focusing on the website and social media, with a specific emphasis on managing the CIVICA ambassadors' Instagram account.
• Monitoring and incorporating social media trends to create engaging and relevant content for CIVICA’s audience.
• Assisting in the coordination of communication campaigns for CIVICA activities.
• Providing support to the CIVICA Communications Manager in handling both internal and external communications for the alliance, such as newsletters, website entries, and social media posts.
• Collaborating with diverse teams within CIVICA and engaging with external stakeholders.

Your profile:

• Possession of a relevant bachelor’s degree in social sciences or a related field.
• Demonstrated excellent organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Profi ciency in digital communication, including a solid understanding ofvarious online platforms.
• Familiarity with tools such as Canva or similar design platforms, as well as experience with website content management systems, will be considered assets.
• Fluency in English required
• Previous experience in social media management and / or video editing skills are advantageous.
