Aufgaben
- Participate in software planning sessions with product managers and engineers
- Own initiatives from start to finish and provide guidance to other engineers
- Represent the technical team in business conversations
- Participate in Peer-Review to ensure high quality software solutions
- Contribute to architectural discussions impacting software performance and reliability
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- Provide support for engineering interventions due to bugs or performance problems
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelors or Masters in a relevant engineering discipline
- 4+ years of practical experience in software engineering
- Proficiency in Ruby and Rails, and front-end/JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
- Experience creating and maintaining scalable web applications
- Good knowledge of Databases (MySQL) and object relational mappers (ActiveRecord)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
