Change.org is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer (Growth Marketing) to contribute to the development, scaling, and maintenance of Change.org's main web application and supporting microservices. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive user growth and engagement through feature development and enhancements. Aufgaben
- Contribute to the development, scaling, and maintenance of the main web application and supporting microservices
- Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and designers to build features that drive user growth
- Support key metrics and enhance the architecture of the homepage and 'Start a Petition' page
- Deliver new features and enhancements for the web app
- Integrate frontend with existing REST and GraphQL services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve issues
- Work on microservices and deploy new features to production
- Participate in technical planning and decision-making processes within the team
Voraussetzungen
- Proficiency in React for building complex web applications using TypeScript and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL for middle-end development
- Knowledge of industry standard SEO practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Experience with microservices architecture using Ruby on Rails and Node.js
- 3+ years of experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- 2+ years of experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
- Experience in scrum development practices and working within cross-functional teams
- 2+ years of experience with backend services using Node.js and Ruby on Rails (optional)
