Join AnalogDream e.V. as a Software and Computer Science Intern, where you will contribute to innovative art installations that merge technology and creativity.
Aufgaben
- Collaborate with the engineering team on the conception, production, and software development of "Cognitive Paintings."
- Refine and expand the capabilities of the "Frame Designer," enhancing color manipulation, animation features, and sensor integration.
- Enhance user-friendliness and adaptability of the platform, participating in debugging and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with dancers and choreographers to bridge movement sensors with the frame design process through OSC.
- Develop a mechanical system for the movement of "Cognitive Paintings" within a spatial setting.
Voraussetzungen
- Enrolled in a relevant degree program in software engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Passion for innovation, technology, and the arts, demonstrated through personal or academic projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to collaborate in a dynamic team environment.
- Familiarity with programming languages and software tools relevant to the role.
- Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary collaborations.
- Solid proficiency in C and/or React.js.
- A minimum of 2 years of active studies in computer science or coding.
- Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM).
- Profound mechanical and dynamic expertise.
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical engines and robotics.
- Strong grasp of LED controlling mechanisms.
