Einführung
Siemens Gamesa is seeking a Senior Revenue Recognition Project Accountant to join their global team. The role involves handling financial statements for project business, acting as a business partner for project inquiries, evaluating new orders from an accounting perspective, supporting management in decision-making, and more. The ideal candidate should have a passion for renewable energy, a degree in Accounting or related field, experience in General Ledger Accounting, knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, and proficiency in SAP. Fluency in English is required, and German language skills are advantageous.
Aufgaben
- Prepare periodic financial statements for project business in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP
- Act as a business partner for project inquiries and provide guidance on complex business models
- Evaluate new orders and contracts from an accounting perspective
- Serve as a contact person for auditors and tax authorities
- Support management in decision-making and evaluating complex business transactions
- Assist in the development and implementation of a new ERP system focusing on project accounting
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Accounting or related field or certification as Bilanzbuchhalter
- Proven experience in General Ledger Accounting
- Proficiency in accounting processes in ERP systems like SAP FI, CO
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP (HGB)
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
