Join Tibber at an exciting time of growth and opportunity! As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll take on a wide range of design challenges throughout the product lifecycle, collaborating closely with engineering, product, product specialists, and fellow product designers.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Design system expertise. You’ll play a vital role in driving, contributing to, building, maintaining, and evolving our design systems. You’ll engage stakeholders and advocate for consistency through the design system.
User advocacy. You’ll champion the user perspective in design discussions, ensuring usability and accessibility standards are met across all products and platforms.
Collaboration. Working within a cross-functional team, you’ll research, wireframe, design, and test to deliver high-quality solutions for your team’s domain.
User research. You’ll identify when user research is needed and, in collaboration with user researchers, plan, conduct, and synthesize research and usability test findings.
Two-way feedback culture. You’ll regularly share your designs and seek feedback, approaching and resolving design critiques constructively and gracefully.
UI Design. You’ll engage in hands-on crafting of implementation-ready designs, focusing on details such as interaction and UI design choices.
⚡⚡️Ideal Profile
UX Design expertise. You have 5+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process, including wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
Solid understanding of product development principles. You’re familiar with principles such as viability, desirability, and feasibility, as well as interaction design principles like consistency, affordance, learnability, predictability, and feedback, and how these integrate into the design process.
User research skills. You bring strong experience with user research methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
Engineering collaborator. You excel in partnering with engineers to implement designs and work as a cohesive team.
User problem-solving expertise. You invest time in understanding core user problems, recognizing that defining the “what” is essential to designing the “how.”
Excellent communication. You effectively articulate design decisions with your team and stakeholders, advocating for the user while fostering collaboration.
Team player. You value teamwork and enjoy the process of co-creating solutions with your team.
Technical proficiency. You’re highly skilled in Figma, particularly in working with components and variants in a design system.
Agility in work. You’re experienced in running cross-functional workshops, design sprints, and collaborative exercises.
Leadership mindset. Experience mentoring or guiding other designers is a plus. You consistently raise the bar, taking ownership of the quality of your work while driving quality across the team.
