Einführung
Circunomics is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Frankfurt, focusing on developing scalable applications and managing big data environments.
Aufgaben
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using Python 3, FastAPI or Flask
- Handle (near) real-time big data environments
- Design, implement, and manage ETL processes
- Implement caching services to improve application performance
- Develop and manage data pipelines using Airflow
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Collaborate with architects and other developers to design application architectures
- Work closely with product managers and designers to understand requirements
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage with Kubernetes
- Create and manage infrastructure using Helm Charts and Terraform
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud platforms
- Create data visualizations using Plotly
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
Voraussetzungen
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong track record of designing and deploying scalable applications
- Deep knowledge in managing (near) real-time big data environments
- Proficient in implementing ETL processes
- In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies and RESTful APIs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of the English language
