At score4more, you contribute with your brainpower and technology skills to:

develop the largest global impact platform in order to shape a sustainable transformation
create new features to make it easy for companies to navigate transformation data, identify suitable sustainable actions and solutions to transform faster
automate our scoring and data analytics to give companies an assessment about their sustainability performance

POSITION KEY FACTS

Scope of the position: full time
Working location: remote, hybrid and/or from our Potsdam office - main residency: germany (means you should have your main residency in germany, but you can work remotely)
Starting date: May 2025 - permanent contract
Compensation: We have a transparent salary system and share programme in which you will be placed according to your professional experience - an adjustment/evaluation takes place after the 6-month probationary period
Vacation: 26 days

YOUR TASKS

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to shape our early-stage product and development processes. You will be responsible for building our web application front-end and cloud-native backend, incorporating continuous customer feedback, data analysis, and product requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Software Development: Build and optimize the front-end and back-end, ensuring seamless user experience and scalability.
DevOps & Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure setup, and enhance deployment processes.
API & System Design: Develop APIs, create scalable event-driven systems, and integrate third-party services.
AI/ML Integration: Support embedding data analytics and AI/ML models into the platform.
Collaboration & Code Quality: Work closely with designers for an intuitive UI, contribute to knowledge sharing, and maintain clean, test-driven code.
Recruitment & Culture: Participate in hiring, mentor new team members, and foster a strong tech culture.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have Skills:

Full-Stack Expertise (6+ years): Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript/React for front-end and Python for back-end development.
Data & AI/ML (3+ years): Hands-on experience with Data Analytics, Machine Learning, NLP, and LLMs.
Agile Methodologies: Proficient in Scrum/Kanban for efficient project management.
Modern Web Development: Strong understanding of frameworks, libraries, and scalable architectures.
Containerization & DevOps: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.
Test-Driven Development: Committed to writing clean, structured, and well-tested code.
Continuous Learning & Adaptability: Keeps up with industry trends, contributes to open-source, and embraces change.
Strong Communication & Teamwork: Works effectively in remote-first, distributed teams with a collaborative mindset.
Leadership Potential: Ability to grow into a technical lead role, fostering team development.
Start-Up Experience: Experience in early-stage environments, building structures and strategies from scratch.
Language Skills: Excellent English proficiency.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

DevOps & CI/CD: Knowledge of Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI for automation.
API & System Design: Experience with REST, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures.
Cloud & Serverless: Backend development in AWS serverless environments.
Community Engagement: Passion for publishing, events, and sharing knowledge.
