Einführung
Join the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Microsystems and Solid State Technologies EMFT as a Senior Analog Layout Engineer and contribute to cutting-edge applied research on sensors and actuators.
Aufgaben
- Realization of layout for power-efficient integrated RF, analog and mixed-signal circuits in highly-scaled CMOS
- Collaboration with expert analog and mixed signal designers
- Development of innovative ASIC solutions using advanced CMOS and BiCMOS process technologies
- Training and mentoring novice circuit designers
- Supervision of students writing their Bachelor's or Master's thesis
Voraussetzungen
- Above-average academic degree in electrical engineering
- At least 10 years of professional experience
- Excellent communication skills and a teamplayer mindset
- Tape-out experience with advanced CMOS processes
- Very good knowledge of performance and quality aspects of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit layout
- Very good knowledge of Cadence Layout Tools for analog and mixed-signal layout
- Good knowledge of parametrized and scripted layout generation is an advantage
- Good knowledge of CAD environment setup for mixed-signal design is an advantage
- Good knowledge of heterogenous integration is an advantage
