Einführung
Access Now is seeking a Security Associate to join their Security and Technology team. The role involves supporting the organization's mission to safeguard staff from security threats in the digital rights and technology space. The position offers a dynamic work environment with a diverse team across multiple countries. The Security Associate will assist in documentation, risk assessments, event security, staff support, and other security-related projects. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in international human rights, strong communication skills, cultural competence, project management abilities, and the capacity to work independently and remotely. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Spanish, Arabic, or French is a plus. The position is full-time with competitive compensation and benefits packages based on location. Aufgaben
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of essential documentation
- Participate and support the development of comprehensive risk assessments
- Provide logistical support for staff travel and event participation
- Support the Security & Technology team in projects designed to support the organization's security needs
- Assist in the global implementation of the annual RightsCon summit series
Voraussetzungen
- Keen interest in international human rights and familiarity with the organization's mission
- Engagement in international relations or security studies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Cultural competence and sensitivity
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Fluency in English required, Spanish, Arabic, French, or another language is a plus
