Einführung
The Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research Dresden (IFW) is offering a scientist/PhD-Student position focused on molecular precursors and ALD growth of 2D materials, starting from 1 October 2024.
Aufgaben
- Rational design of molecular precursors for ALD growth of functional 2D materials.
- Chemical synthesis and structural analysis of organometallic precursors.
- Process development for the synthesis of 2D materials by means of ALD.
- Publishing and presentation of scientific results.
Voraussetzungen
- Master’s degree or Diploma in the field of Synthetic Inorganic Chemistry.
- Profound knowledge of the synthesis of organometallic compounds.
- Experience in working under inert conditions and in the purification and analysis of air sensitive compounds.
- Knowledge of thermal analysis and chemical vapor deposition techniques is desirable.
- Willingness to work in a team and to network with scientific institutes and industrial partners.
- Confidence in the use of standard MS programs and a good command of written and spoken English.
