Einführung
Join Fraunhofer ISI in Karlsruhe as a Researcher in the Mobility Business Unit, focusing on sustainable mobility and the transformation of transport systems.
Aufgaben
- Acquire and manage research and policy advice projects for municipal, national, and international clients.
- Develop solutions for the transformation of the transport sector and the automotive industry in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Quantify the effects of measures on climate protection in the transport sector using simulation models and statistical analyses.
- Consider the effects of AI and digitalization on the transport system.
- Further develop evaluation methods and empirical database.
Voraussetzungen
- Completed PhD in economics, transport studies, urban planning or a related discipline.
- Experience in project acquisition, project management, and advising policymakers and businesses is an advantage.
- Experience in a programming language (e.g., Python) or working with system dynamics models.
- Good grasp of statistical or econometric methods and confidence in working with large data sets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with very good intercultural communication skills.
- Interest in scientific and interdisciplinary research and publishing.
- Very good German and English language skills.
