Einführung
The Technische Universität Berlin is seeking a Research Associate (PostDoc) for the Institute of Mathematics, focusing on stochastic dynamics and mathematical finance.
Aufgaben
- Carry out research in Project A09 "Dormant populations in heterogeneous random environments" within the SFB/Transregio 388.
Voraussetzungen
- Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) and doctorate in Mathematics at the start of employment
- Very good knowledge of stochastic processes and stochastic dynamics
- Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
- Desirable: Experiences with random particle systems, branching processes, stochastic partial differential equations and/or random media
