Einführung
The Fraunhofer Institute for Silicon Technology ISIT is seeking a Research Associate in Hardware Development for Multiport Converters, focusing on power electronics and related technologies.
Aufgaben
- Research in the field of power electronics for multi-source integration (topologies, incl. modularity, optimization, etc.)
- Development and testing of power electronics hardware
- Communication of results, both internally and externally
- Collaboration with scientists in the team
- Support in scientific profiling by writing publications as well as acquisition of research projects and industrial projects
Voraussetzungen
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, or a comparable qualification in a related field
- Experience in power electronics hardware design and knowledge in multiport converters
- Practical experience with wide band-gap transistors
- A high degree of independence, initiative, and commitment, combined with a high level of curiosity and willingness to learn
- Ability to quickly familiarize with new problems and to take responsibility in a team environment
- Fluency in spoken and written English
