Einführung
The Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT is looking for a scientific employee in the field of fusion research, focusing on the modeling and optimization of high-power laser diodes.
Aufgaben
- Work independently on publicly funded projects with industry participation in the field of modeling semiconductor lasers
- Support the acquisition of publicly funded projects and bilateral industrial projects
- Present results to customers and at national and international conferences
- Create articles for external presentation
- Supervise scientific theses
Voraussetzungen
- University degree in physics, electrical engineering or a comparable course of study
- Willingness to pursue a doctorate
- Ability to carry out practical research projects in close coordination with project partners
- Initiative and ability to familiarize quickly with new topics
- Experience in modeling, programming, numerics and semiconductor lasers is advantageous
- Very good German and English skills
