Einführung
The Technische Universität Berlin is seeking a Research Assistant for the Institute of Food Technology and Food Chemistry, focusing on food biotechnology and food process engineering.
Aufgaben
- Conduct technology assessment of meat substitute products as part of the BUA project 'Responsible innovation and protein transitions'
- Collect data from literature and workshops with industry, agriculture, consumers, and nutritional science/medicine
- Process data in cooperation with social and political scientists to create an innovation radar
- Prepare decision-making tools for practice and politics
- Collaborate in teaching
Voraussetzungen
- Completed scientific university degree (Master's degree, diploma or equivalent) in food technology or equivalent
- Extensive practical experience in the production of meat substitute products (especially extrusion)
- Extensive practical experience with project-accompanying industrial committees (especially extrusion)
- High inclination for inter- and transdisciplinary work
- Ability to teach in German and/or English; willingness to acquire missing language skills
