Yunus Environment Hub (YEH) is looking for a

Project Manager for Circular Value Chains (d/f/ m)

We are looking for a full -time ( 40 hours/week) Project Manager (d/f/m ) who will be responsible for

developing and maintaining a stakeholder network and partnerships in a Circular Economy flagship

initiative . The successful candidate will be employed in Germany and based in one of our offices in Munich

or Berlin (partly remote possible) commencing 1st of November 202 4.

What You Will Be Doing

The Project Manager will be responsible for partnerships for circular value chains between mainstream businesses & SMEs in the social business sector and implement the knowledge dissemination and training component of the initiative . The Project Manager will work closely with the project lead and supporting staff to implement the activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stakeholder engagement & Partnership Management

• Conduct outreach and relationship -building efforts with key stakeholders , including

industry -organizations, associations, companies and public entities (including ministries,

local authorities and others)

• Identify and engage with program -relevant companies (demand) and social businesses

(offer)

• Establish and curate a network of stakeholders and potential part ners for the initi ative • Identify and approach potential companies/entities for the engagement with social businesses offering Circular Economy products

• Accompany and guide partnerships connecting offer and demand for Circular Economy

products to ensure alignment of goals, smooth collaboration and successful outcomes

• Facilitate negotiation of partnership agreements and monitor progress

1. Training & Consulting

• Organize and moderate stakeholder events, webinars a nd workshops to educate partners and participants of the initiative and promote network building and collaboration

• Deliver brief consultations for companies/entities and social businesses

1. Project Management / Support to the Project Lead

• Provide operational and strategic support to the Project Lead

• Contribute to planning, monitoring and (internal and external) reporting on project

activities , programme progress and learnings

• Create a business model for the long -term sus tainability of the initiative

• Monitor and document best practices and lessons learned

• Taking on special projects and tasks that contribute to the further development of the

initiative .

1. Communication

• Support the development and dissemination of resources and publications on circular

value chains and procurement s.

• Create programme -related reports and presentations

• Create content for programme -related events, invitations, trainings, website updates, social media and other formats.

What You Should Bring

• At least 7 years of experience in partnership management and consulting , ideally in the corporate and sustainability sector

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Sustainability Management, Social Sciences or comparable fields

• Understanding of challenges and needs of conventional and social businesses (B2B) , regulatory frameworks and developments in the sustainability sector , in particular Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSR D) and ESG are a strong asset s

• Knowledge of Circular Economy and/or sustainable procurement practices

• Fluency in both English and German is required for this position

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Existing eligibility for employment in Germany is required
