Einführung
The Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) is seeking a Postdoc in the Sander Lab to conduct research on human pluripotent stem cells related to diabetes and transcriptional regulation.
Aufgaben
- Provide scientific development and execution of human pluripotent stem cell research related to diabetes and transcriptional regulation.
- Convert research findings to manuscripts, progress reports, and presentations.
- Recommend new technical areas to be discussed or promote discussion in existing areas of expertise.
- Train, instruct, and mentor project team members.
- Analyze and interpret research data, exercising independent judgement.
Voraussetzungen
- PhD degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline (stem cell biology, cell and molecular biology, biomedical engineering) or a related field with relevant experience
- Expertise in molecular biology and tissue culture
- Strong self-motivation, organizational skills and ability to lead and develop scientific projects
- Scientific curiosity, analytical thinking and interest in contributing to projects
- Keen interest in learning new skills, research techniques, data processing and analysis/interpretation of results
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with expert individuals of different backgrounds in a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience in electronic data organization
