    The role

We have big plans for Tomorrow. Our vision: Establish sustainable finance at the heart of society. That's a hell of a lot of work - so let's get started.
As our Platform Engineer, you will be part of the Platform team and take shared
responsibility for the availability and further development of our cloud infrastructure, which
forms the basis of our product infrastructure. For the planning, prioritization, and
implementation, you will work closely with the product teams, other organization units and
external partners like Solaris SE – by actively participating in refinements and planning
meetings, for example. You will support the DevOps Engineers in the product teams, act as
an important designated contact for the processing of incidents within the engineering team,
and also help to develop sustainable solutions.

    What we're looking for

    • You have several years of work experience in the platform or DevOps sector and
    • have ideally studied IT or a similar subject.
    • You are familiar with AWS or a comparable provider.
    • You have good skills in Kubernetes Basics (kubectl, Helm), Infrastructure as Code
    • (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
    • You are an experienced user of tools like Grafana, Prometheus, OpenSearch, and
    • Docker and also feel right at home in the Shell.
    • Ideally, you have experience with databases (e.g. Postgres) and NGINX, and have
    • already used Kafka (Pub/Sub) and distributed systems, microservices or software
    • architecture.
    • You are very willing to learn and enjoy familiarizing yourself with new topics and
    • tasks.
    • You take a responsible and careful approach to dealing with critical infrastructure.
    • You enjoy communicating outside of your team and are open and constructive in
    • controversial discussions.
    • You have very good English skills.
    • You stand behind the idea of using money as a lever for positive change and are
    • passionate about joining us in creating a better future for everyone.

    What we offer

It will be fun too, we promise! Together with more than 100 like-minded colleagues, you will work every day to win people over to sustainable finance. Our culture is based on our values, our active new work philosophy and on clear, ambitious goals. But the best way to get to know us is to come and meet us and experience Tomorrow for yourself.

    Salary

    57.000 - 67.000 Euro annual gross + one-time 5.000 EUR in virtual shares
Transparency is Queen (and King). This is why we indicate a salary range for all jobs. Once we have got to know you better in an interview, we will be able to assess you individually and find out where you fit in our transparent salary matrix.

    You want to work remotely?

We want to give all employees at Tomorrow the opportunity to organize their personal life and working hours flexibly and in keeping with their own requirements. Working from home and mobile work are therefore integral parts of our remote-friendly work culture. At the same time, we believe in the huge advantages of meeting up and working together in person. Our fantastic office in Hamburg is the perfect space for this and available to you any time. Our office is wheelchair-accessible, has ground-level access and offers flexible options for designing your workspace. We expect our future Platform Engineer (f/m/x) to spend a minimum of 2-3 days per quarter working on-site in our office. We will be happy to discuss all other details with you when we meet you (virtually) in person.
One more thing: for organizational reasons, this position requires your place of residence to be in Germany.

    What's the next step?

We'd like to welcome you to our community.
That is why we want to engage with you at eye level and invite you to come as you are - even if you think you don’t fit all the requirements yet.

If you're interested in working with us we need the following from you:

    • Your resume, without photo or birth information
    • Your salary expectations and earliest possible starting date.
    • A few sentences about your motivation to build the banking of tomorrow with us

Besides, we would appreciate it if you let us know how you would like to be addressed (pronoun / preferred name) so that we can take that into account throughout the application process.

    Our interview process:

    1. First interview around cultural aspects and experience | Talent Acquisition
    2. Technical interview | Team Lead & team member
    3. Final interview | Team Lead & Talent Acquisition
