PhD Student (m/f/d) in the field of Energy Transition

The ZSW is looking for a PhD student (m/f/d) in the field of Energy Transition. The position is aimed at supporting research projects related to the transition of energy systems towards sustainability. The successful candidate will work on innovative solutions and contribute to the development of new technologies in the energy sector.

Your tasks:

• Conducting research in the field of energy transition
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Publishing research results in scientific journals
• Presenting findings at conferences

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, environmental science, or similar)
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for research
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
