Overview

Within the framework of its activities as a UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts, Karlsruhe has initiated a project with the city of Modena (Italy). The EU-funded project CULT. Dialogue and exchange of citizens on cultural heritage and media arts as tool for the creation of a stronger European identity promotes the exchange of artistic and urban perspectives. The project aims to promote intercultural exchange and dialogue between citizens from the two Media Arts cities to reflect on our common cultural heritage and use media arts as a creative tool for the creation of a stronger European identity.

Focus on cultural exchange

In addition to representatives of the most important institutions in both cities, the city of Karlsruhe is looking for 15 people with a good knowledge of English who live, work or study in Karlsruhe and are willing to broaden their view of cultural diversity in order to contribute to the creation of new cultural routes in the field of media art. The target group of the project is not only media artists and students, professionals and entrepreneurs in the cultural sector, but also interested citizens.
