Einführung
The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) offers the position of a full-time Medical Manager (f/m/x) in an international and multicultural team at the IPC Headquarters in Bonn, Germany, starting from September 2024.
Aufgaben
- Guide and monitor the event medical planning for the Paralympic Games
- Coordinate the TUE (Therapeutic Use Exemption) management for the Paralympic Games
- Manage tasks relating to the IPC Games-time injury and illness survey and other research
- Support and coordinate research and educational initiatives related to Para sport
- Support the IPC’s safeguarding portfolio and initiatives
- Support and provide appropriate guidance for the IPC’s biennial ‘VISTA Conference’
- Liaise with the IPC Medical Committee and IPC Science and Research Working Group
- Support the Medical and Scientific Director
Voraussetzungen
- University degree in a health-related or sports medicine/sports science field
- At least 2 years’ experience in the management of medical/sport/research programmes
- Knowledge and understanding of sport medicine, sport science or related fields
- Diligence, accuracy and reliability
- Ability to work independently
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
