The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is seeking a candidate for a Master Thesis focused on the development of tools for autonomous mechanical weed control with robots, aimed at enhancing ecological sustainability in agriculture.
Aufgaben
- Development of tools for autonomous mechanical removal of weeds in the field
- Design initial prototypes in CAD based on analyses and research
- Evaluate prototypes in trial fields
Voraussetzungen
- Background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
- Profound knowledge in mechanical design and technical mechanics
- Experience in agriculture is a plus
- Experience with CAD software
- Enthusiasm for mobile robotics
- Fluent in English or German
