Einführung
Join the Submariner Network for Blue Growth EEIG as a Marine Planning and Sustainable Use Project Manager in Berlin, where you will contribute to sustainable marine resource management and policy.
Aufgaben
- EU project coordination, management and administration (incl. coordination of activities and tasks of project partners, monitoring of budgets; document preparation, project reports)
- Preparation of key outputs together with other partners (i.e. conducting desk research; author of chapter and/or main editor of reports)
- Consultancy advice on marine planning, policy and multi-use
- Planning, organising and participating in meetings and events (in-person & online), overseeing logistics and technical support when necessary
- Planning and organization of the engagement of external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, research and non-governmental organizations
- Converting reports and other project content into understandable articles, abstracts, presentations, animations, etc. for our various media channels
- Together with the 3M team play an active role in identifying and acquiring new projects that align with our strategic objectives.
Voraussetzungen
- Relevant university degree in a spatial planning/environmental discipline
- At least 5 years relevant work experience, ideally working in EU projects and/or relevant industry sectors
- Experience in spatial planning (ideally maritime) and related marine policy issues; good understanding of the renewable energy, aquaculture, and nature protection sectors
- Proven analytical, research and communication skills and ability to produce high-quality reports, briefs and policy recommendations
- Fluent written and spoken English. Proficiency in German and/or other languages of the Baltic Sea region is an advantage
- Proven ability in project and workshop organisation and management
- Exceptional teamwork and interpersonal abilities
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SharePoint
- Able to travel occasionally in Europe to co-host or participate in events.
