Vanilla Steel is a Berlin-based startup that has established a leading B2B marketplace for industrial metals in Europe. They are on a mission to transform the metal trading industry with digital solutions. The company is looking for a Junior Data Analyst (Intern) to join their team for a 3-6 months internship, supporting the Data Team in providing insights to the organization. The ideal candidate will work with Python, Excel, SQL, and data processing frameworks to analyze data and drive insights for business decisions.
Aufgaben
- Design, implement, and maintain data processing pipelines
- Assist in defining vision and objectives for data products
- Develop insightful dashboards and provide necessary data infrastructure
- Implement automated monitoring tools for data accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify solutions to business problems
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering processes
- Process and analyze data using Excel, SQL, and Python
- Analyze and interpret data on inventory, transactions, and customer data
- Make recommendations based on data analysis
Voraussetzungen
- Experience with Python and data processing frameworks
- Strong skills in Google Sheets (Excel) and SQL
- Ability to analyze data effectively for insights
- Attention to detail and high standards in tasks
- Recent graduate in Data Analytics, Data Science, or quantitative discipline
- Experience with Looker, Tableau, or other dashboarding tools
- Entrepreneurial drive and hands-on mentality
- Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in English
