STUDIO OLAFUR ELIASSON OFFERS MANDATORY PAID INTERNSHIP POSITIONS IN THE DESIGN DEPARTMENT FOR ENROLLED STUDENTS

Job Description:

We are looking for students in the fields of architecture, who are interested in art production and the transformation of research into real projects. We seek highly motivated team players with a strong passion for art and architecture who are interested in spending a semester in the design department at Studio Olafur Eliasson in Berlin. We are looking for interns for a duration of about 6 months.

Your Skills & Qualities:

• Excellent design skills and sensitivity for aesthetics
• Curiosity and enthusiasm
• Strong proficiency in Rhino 3D and Adobe Suite (please specify in CV)
• Experience in programming geometries (Grasshopper)
• Good English skills (German skills are helpful but not necessary)
• Ability to work independently, precisely, and elaborately
• Ability to think analytically and conceptually

The studio team consists of specialised technicians, architects, artists, art historians, cooks, and administrators. We work with Eliasson to experiment, develop, and install artworks, projects, and exhibitions as well as to communicate and contextualise his work. We’re a fast-paced team that understands the importance of slow, in-depth work.
