Einführung
Join the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems as an intern or student assistant and contribute to innovative research in wind propulsion design systems.
Aufgaben
- Investigate the system design of the wind propulsion system with boundary layer suction
- Focus on the design of the suction sail technology
- Develop a comprehensive simulation model in MATLAB/Simulink
- Perform a parametric study of the design criteria for the system
Voraussetzungen
- Studying Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or a similar subject in a master’s program
- Initial knowledge of CAD software, especially Siemens NX
- Programming skills in MATLAB and Simulink
- Fluent in English or German
