Einführung
Join gridX as an Intermediate/Senior EMS Engineer and contribute to digitalizing the energy industry by building a state-of-the-art energy management solution.
Aufgaben
- Build/extend/maintain EMS logic for the Tariff Timer service
- Drive development of time-of-use optimization models
- Identify shortcomings and bottlenecks in EMS logic
- Work closely with product management to understand customer needs
- Conceptualize mathematical energy system models and control algorithms
- Translate mathematical EMS logic into scalable software service
- Develop/review design documents and guide other engineers
- Monitor daily operations and push improvements to internal processes
- Design EMS solutions that customers love to use
Voraussetzungen
- 3+ years of experience with mathematical modeling of energy systems
- Experience with numerical optimization techniques (e.g., MILP)
- Intermediate level in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Julia)
- Experience with data science techniques for time series forecasting (preferred)
- Strong track record of software development in distributed systems (preferred)
