    Einführung

    The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is seeking a (Deputy) Head of ICT Region to provide quality ICT support and guidance to the designated Delegation. The role involves supervising the installation, maintenance, and evolution of an existing large ICT infrastructure and service setup. The ideal candidate should have a degree in telecommunications, electronics, computer science or a related field, along with ICT management certification and Microsoft Certification. Fluency in English and French is required. The candidate should have at least 5 years of professional experience in IT service operation management and at least 2 years of experience in people management. Knowledge of wireless technologies is mandatory, and project management certification and cybersecurity knowledge/experience are assets. The candidate should be strongly motivated by humanitarian work, empathic, open-minded, and have an interest in diversity and inclusion. Excellent teamwork and ability to work under pressure in a potentially dangerous environment are also required.

    Aufgaben

    • Ensure quality of ICT support
    • Provide guidance and support to management
    • Supervise installation, maintenance, and evolution of ICT infrastructure
    • Run tests on ICT equipment and networks
    • Manage and lead ICT teams
    • Recruit and train ICT staff

    Voraussetzungen

    • Degree in telecommunications, electronics, computer science or related field
    • ICT management certification (ITIL or equivalent)
    • Microsoft Certification (MCSA level)
    • Fluency in English and French
    • At least 5 years of professional experience in IT service operation management
    • At least 2 years of confirmed experience in people management
    • Knowledge of wireless technologies
    • Project Management Certification (PRINCE2 or equivalent) is an asset
    • Cybersecurity knowledge and experience is an asset
    • Strongly motivated by humanitarian work
    • Strong interest in ICT Operations Management
    • Excellent ability to work in a team and under pressure
