Einführung
This is a leadership role in a purpose company that is tackling a multi-billion dollar market, combining business knowledge with a passion for sustainability.
Aufgaben
- Develop Greentrade’s Corporate strategy
- Maintain an overview of the carbon project developer network
- Develop knowledge of carbon project methodologies and standards
- Drive procurement and consulting services to customers
- Develop thought leadership and science content
- Act as point of contact for international project partners
- Engage in proactive networking with relevant organisations
- Source new projects for carbon credits offtake agreements
- Design standardized due diligence process for new projects
- Take on commercial and operational responsibility for existing partners
- Participate in strategic decision-making
Voraussetzungen
- Passion for sustainability and professionalism
- Academic degree in business administration, technology, environmental management, or related field
- Expert knowledge and experience in sustainability and carbon projects
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in carbon projects focusing on nature-based solutions
- Understanding of Voluntary Carbon Market standards and methodologies
- Skills in AFOLU Carbon management and project assessment
- Experience in monitoring and reporting of nature-based carbon projects
- Understanding of tropical forest conservation and sustainable practices
- B2B experience with customer focus
- Fluent in English (German and Spanish is a plus)
- Business-oriented mindset with ability to prioritize
- Structured and detail-oriented work style
- Strong communication skills in English
