    Who are we?

    At phelas, we’re innovating the future of energy storage with Aurora and Catalyst. Aurora, our containerized Liquid Air Energy Storage (LAES) solution, is designed to reshape the energy storage landscape. Meanwhile, Catalyst, our trailblazing energy storage and green hydrogen planning tool, is streamlining the pathway to efficient, sustainable energy planning. Together, these solutions are igniting the transition to continuous, 24/7 renewable power, and you can be part of this exciting journey.

    What will you do?

    As a key member of our team, you will:

    • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for the company’s energy storage solutions.
    • Identify and engage with potential B2B clients to open new business opportunities.
    • Drive the entire sales process, from prospecting to deal closure.
    • Work closely with the founders and other key team members to align sales efforts with business goals.
    • Lay the foundation for future sales growth, including the development of sales processes and pipelines.

    Who are you?

    As the first sales hire in a dynamic energy startup, the Head of Sales will take on a one-person-show role, driving the company’s growth through new business development. This role is all about being a door opener—engaging potential clients, identifying opportunities, and closing deals. The focus will be on winning new customers rather than managing existing accounts. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial-minded deal closer who thrives in a startup environment, with a proactive approach to establishing partnerships and scaling sales efforts from the ground up.

    • Proven ability to design and execute B2B sales strategies.
    • Expertise in managing the entire sales funnel: lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.
    • Deep understanding of complex sales negotiations, particularly in high-value, long-term contracts.
    • Knowledge in project Financing Models: Strong understanding of financing mechanisms, project viability assessment, and ability to present projects that meet financial criteria (NPV, IRR, etc.).
    • Preferred: familiarity with energy storage technologies, especially LDES and sector coupling.
    • Optional Experience selling SaaS products, particularly in the energy or cleantech sectors.
    • Proficient in data-driven decision-making and market analytics.
