Einführung
Renewables Academy (RENAC) is seeking a Head of Proposal Design and Business Development (Renewable Energies) to lead the proposal design and business development team in Berlin. The role involves identifying business opportunities in project tenders related to renewable energies, drafting proposals, managing tender processes, and collaborating with internal departments for project delivery. The ideal candidate should have experience in proposal preparation, knowledge of tendering processes for institutions like GIZ, EU, World Bank, and strong analytical, negotiation, and language skills in English and German.
Aufgaben
- Lead the project and proposal design process for renewable energy capacity building projects
- Identify and evaluate business opportunities in project tenders related to renewable energies
- Coordinate and draft technical and financial proposals that meet tender requirements
- Apply for project tenders and manage the tender process
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure successful project delivery
- Lead and manage a business development and sales team
- Represent the organization at public and private events
Voraussetzungen
- Proven experience in preparing proposals for technical assistance projects
- Knowledge of tendering processes for institutions such as GIZ, EU, World Bank, KfW, UN, or ISA
- Experience in project planning, budgeting, and understanding complex tendering processes
- Strong analytical skills and ability to perform accurate calculations
- Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in English and German
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a dynamic environment
- Networking skills to build and maintain industry relationships
- University degree in a related field (engineering, business, etc.)
