Aufgaben
- Create tools to measure the energy use of software
- Set up and measure Cloud environments, build-chains, Virtual Machines
- Write prototypes, tests and tools
- Conduct research on Computer Science papers and articles
- Collaborate with the team to discuss approaches and generate new methods
Voraussetzungen
- 5+ years experience as a professional software developer
- Experience with container systems (docker, podman or similar)
- Understanding of virtualization concepts (VMs)
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS / Google Cloud / Azure / Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Linux subsystem concepts for containerization (cgroups, namespaces, procfs, sysfs)
- Experience with End-to-End Testing Tools (Selenium, Codeception, Playwright or similar)
- Familiarity with CI-Pipelines (Github actions preferred)
- At least 3 years experience in Node.JS / Javascript or Python or PHP
- Basic understanding of modern computer architectures
- Entry level experience in reading, writing and adapting C code
- Ability to work independently on a project
- Product focused development
