About the job
Please note:

Your Profile
Are you a Game Designer with experience in serious games or have you already gained experience as a UX/UI Designer for a B2C gamified platform or product? The target group of young kids is nothing new to you? Then this might be the perfect job for you! These are further requirements of the position:
-
You are a pragmatic, prototype-first designer who deeply understands the needs of both young children and their parents, aiming to create experiences that are engaging, educational, and delightful for both audiences.
-
You have experience or a strong understanding of designing mini-games and reward mechanics tailored to young children, ideally with experience working on games or educational products for early learners or primary school kids.
-
You are familiar with designing scalable products and systems, maintaining focus on both the big-picture vision and the details needed to execute innovative and cohesive solutions.
-
You have a degree in graphic design, communication design, game design, or a related field, and bring a strong foundation of design principles to your work.
-
You excel at translating ideas, concepts, and research into compelling design solutions that communicate the product’s value to parents while supporting an engaging and effective learning process for kids.
-
You have expertise in Figma (or similar tools) and can create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished, high-quality designs that meet both creative and functional standards.
Your Mission
Our product accompanies users through their everyday learning. You will be part of the cross-functional scrum team that focuses on our new early learning product. Since we develop that product from scratch, we are always looking for new ways and innovative solutions. You will work closely with the Product Manager, a Researcher and another Game Designer. These are your specific tasks:
-
You will work in a cross-functional team to scale up our early learning product for 2-6-year-olds by designing engaging mini-games, interactive features, and adaptive systems that cater to children’s developmental needs while addressing parents' expectations, fostering retention, learning progress, and trust in the product.
-
You will create rapid and high-fidelity prototypes to test and validate game concepts, mechanics, and features, ensuring they align with the product's vision and provide a seamless, delightful experience for our users.
-
You will contribute to shaping the product's identity, enhancing its playful, child-focused world with mini-games and features that strengthen the product's appeal to both kids and parents.
-
You will collaborate on creating a design system that supports scalable, consistent, and innovative features while ensuring a cohesive and delightful user experience.
-
You will work closely with developers to deliver high-quality designs in an agile environment, ensuring the features and games meet visual, functional, and technical standards while supporting the product’s scalability goals.
