Finance Assistant bei Renewable Grid Initiative e.V

The Renewables Grid Initiative (RGI) is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team ASAP in Berlin.

Process, report, reconcile, chase payments, and manage operational processes
Perform invoice matching and reconcile with internal books
Organize, structure and archive the invoices
Efficiently organize and track travel expenses while ensuring accurate reconciliation with the general ledger
Ensure and maintain precise timesheet records according to budget requirements Finance Manager’s inputs
Coordinate and arrange meetings with staff to structure timesheet procedures
Monitor the leave requests and ensure the reconciliation with internal books
Execute cost accounting, reconciliation of transactions to the cost centers and expense categories
Provide valuable assistance to the Finance Manager for monthly closing, quarterly closing and year closing
Support Finance Manager in Year-end Audit Process

Relevant education in the field of financing, accounting and bookkeeping
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and controlling
Knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices in compliance with German regulations
Good understanding of financial statements
Proven strong skills in MS Excel
Experience with the use of Date would be a plus
Fluency in English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
