Aufgaben
- Manage processes and compliance requirements related to financial aspects of development, monitoring, and reporting on philanthropic resources
- Lead in preparing and publishing financial data, grant budget development, and ensuring compliance with funder guidelines
- Optimize and oversee grant-related budgeting process from kick-off phase to close out
- Develop spending forecasts for projects and work with teams to address variances
- Review implementing partners' progress reports and collaborate with programs team to develop grant monitoring system
- Maintain oversight of budgets/spends for grants and create spending mitigation action plans for variances
- Participate in grant review meetings and track projects and spending for each assigned donor
- Develop and deploy training on grant finance requirements and project financial systems
- Assess and report on fiduciary controls for financial management of donor funds
- Review grant expense coding and ensure accurate recording
- Develop and maintain register of donor rules and regulations by grant and monitor compliance
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with philanthropic funding and donors' budget and regulatory compliance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle heavy workload with competing priorities
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and technical savvy with Microsoft Office and Intacct Accounting System
- Proficient in English
