Einführung
The Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT offers the opportunity to write a thesis on the development and implementation of media tightness tests on laser-welded hybrid joints made of metal and plastic.
Aufgaben
- Construct a small housing for clamping the test specimens
- Carry out a series of tests with different materials and laser parameters
- Evaluate the samples with regard to media density
- Adapt the work content together with the team based on interests
Voraussetzungen
- Studying mechanical engineering, engineering sciences or physics in bachelor or master
- Interest in technical problems in application-oriented research
- Responsible, independent and structured way of working
- Highly motivated
- Initial experience in design and laser systems is desirable, but not a prerequisite
