Einführung
Join Orbem as a Field Engineer and assist with the installation and maintenance of innovative imaging solutions across Europe, making a difference in sustainable technology.
Aufgaben
- Assist with the installation & maintenance of scanning solutions at customer sites
- Evaluate local conditions and define site requirements for installations
- Organize installations with various suppliers
- Test system performance and teach customers in safety, service, and operation
- Collaborate with product management on customer feedback and product improvement
- Coordinate with suppliers on onsite servicing, repair, or redesign
Voraussetzungen
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar; or higher professional technical education (Techniker, Meister)
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems and their components
- Solid knowledge in electricity, statics, construction, and water-cooling
- Experience in CAD tools for drawing site plans (DWG files) or technical drawings
- Fluent in English and German
- Communicative and self-confident in front of customers and suppliers
- Structured approach to problem-solving
- Ability to root cause technical problems and consult suitable agents
- Open to travel primarily in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and other European countries
- Valid driver's license in Germany
- Experience with MRI technology (preferred)
- Basic knowledge in Linux (preferred)
- Experience in a customer-facing position (preferred)
- Team player promoting a prosocial and dynamic team spirit (preferred)
- Proactive in implementing demands efficiently (preferred)
